Appointment and Financial Coordinator
This team member is the primary point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities in this position will include:
- Greeting patients as they arrive
- Answering calls from patients
- Scheduling appointments to fill doctor and hygienist schedules
- File insurance claims
- Educate patients about their financial options and responsibilities
- Build relationships with our patients and market our practice and services
- Daily use of computer systems, multi-line phone system, and other office technologies
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with computers and other office technology
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight
- Expertise with practice management software
- Understanding and ability to promote our practice vision and philosophy
- Ability to maintain positive, professional, and compassionate interactions with patients
Dental Assistant I and II
This team member plays a vital role in helping the doctor ensure all patients’ needs are met efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will engage the patient and set the tone for the appointment through patience, care, and education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Digital x-rays and intra-oral photographs
- Preparing patient for treatments
- Providing educational and follow-up materials
- Supporting the doctor during procedures
- Ensuring sterilization and safety compliance
- Additional clinical and assisting duties as assigned
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Excellent clinical skills
- Computer skills
- Experience with digital radiography and intra-oral photography
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with dental instruments and procedures
- Understanding of OSHA standards and requirements
- Understanding of scheduling and financial systems
Dental Hygienist
This team member works directly with our patients to provide cleaning, care, and education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dental cleanings
- Dental hygiene education
- Periodontal care
- Administration of local anesthetic (if licensed to do so)
- Additional clinical duties as assigned
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A 2 or 4 year degree from an accredited dental hygiene program (required)
- License to administer local anesthetic
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to effectively educate patients of all ages
- Ability to work independently and with other team members
